Jamie has a plan to solve his financial woes: land a spot on the reality television show America's Most Haunted Houses. Problem #1: his house isn't currently haunted. With the help of his friend Frankie and girlfriend Ramona, Jamie attempts to stage a haunting to convince the producers and get $100,000. Problem #2: after the faked seance, Jamie is visited by the ghost of his childhood best friend, a 10 year old boy named Dylan, who doesn't seem super-clear that he's dead or that Jamie isn't 10 years old anymore either.
